This woman's bravado is awe-inspiring. In the parts of Afghanistan where I operated, it was culturally accepted that women were basically worthless without their husband, brother, and/or son(s). The fact that she's so strong without them is a testament to her strength. I don't know about anyone else, but I believe that she is a wonderful inspiration for anyone going through tough times. If she can overcome  something as horrible as this, then I can fight to overcome my issues.
