A U.S. Army Soldier with United States Forces - Afghanistan plays with Military Working Dog Gero
during a break between clearing compounds in Shah Karez, Afghanistan, 09 Mar., 2012. Military
working dogs are used throughout the U.S. Military for detecting drugs and explosive, deterring
threats and protecting their handlers.(U.S. Army photo by Spc. Kristina Truluck/Released)

My military imagery is available for public domain. As the photographer, I don't have control over
how you may use it, but I ask that it be done with respect to the individuals represented here.

It's actually not all that bad. I never realized how bulky they looked until reviewing photos. xD

Gee-ro.  I have no idea if it means anything else, but it makes me think of the lamb wraps that are sold at the Greek restaurants.

There was this one halal place in Korea we went to (Not that we eat much Halal), but they had banana milk shakes(nanner milk is popular in Asia) and it was good! I tried a gyro thing, not bad.

as for what made me wanna' "favorite" the image... the humanity. the juxtaposition of different cultures and the mix of emotions when viewing the image. .... in short though, I just dig it.

Thanks!
I loved it when the dogs were with my group - it was a fluffy piece of home. xD
