Arlington National Ceremony Arlington, VA November 11, 2012 Canon 5D MkII
Soldiers from the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment "The Old Guard" carry wreaths presented by members of the Honor Guard from the Association of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Today is the day to pay your respect to those who have made some of the hardest sacrifices. There are not enough words to describe how lonely, heartbreaking and absolutely amazing it can be when you're thousands of miles away from all that you've known and loved.
To my brothers and sisters past, present, and future (and to my boys from 5-20th FINALLY working their way back home after a year in the suck) thank you.

Thank you! I was apprehensive about this shot - wasn't too comfortable having the main subject leading out of the frame like that, but I'm glad you like it!
