AKA MacDaddy the Demon Pony
Equilibrium Horse Center in Gambrills, MD | June 11th, 2009
Nikon D200

This little guy acted as if he was as big as the other horses. He had no problem bossing them around. He also had no problem telling us humans where the treats should go! He'd prick those little ears and twitch those lips...he's obviously a starved little bugger in need of all the love in the world. ;p

Thank you!  I can't wait to get some more horse photos.  I'm going to try to sneak in some camera time during the training session at the rescue in a few weeks.

Oh I can see. Starved for sure LOL. Sort of like my starved Fjords - that is if you listen to them anyway. If it was up to them I think they would be placing a call to the ASPCA. They will no sooner take the last bite on a full bale of hay and begin screaming (literally) at us for more. I love the name. I call our mare "The Tick" because she is such an easy keeper and actually has a flat back if she gets to fat, which doesn't take much at all.

Oh yes! According to them I think I should rot in hell. Little porkers :) They are so cute, it is hard to say "no". Although my mare did have laminitis once, with no rotation thank goodness, because of the ignorance of the person who had her before me. They didn't understand what easy keepers these guys are and just put their Fjords out on this super lush pasture and let them blow up like little balloons, with no exercise. They were just there because they were cute. They have performance, eventing horses, but these guys were just the "decoration" on the farm.
