Hope is a four-lettered word...

Very little is worse for a parent than sitting in an emergency room holding their child's hand not knowing
what's going on. It was heartbreaking to see my normally hyper ninjababy laying listlessly in the bed as
he was poked and prodded. He was such a trooper - he still managed faint little smiles at the female
nurses while they drew fluids from his knee and vial after vial of blood. He even giggled a little bit as the
ambulance transported us from Howard County Hospital to John Hopkins in Baltimore.

After talking with multiple teams of doctors and dozens of tests, not to mention two days of constant worry
on my end, the diagnoses was pinpointed. Ninjababy is fine, though his condition is lifelong. In addition,
they found a heart murmur that they want to keep monitored.

The nurses gave my little man a red cape. After these past two days from hell, I'm convinced that this
brave little boy is really superbaby.
