An Afghan boy looks at the camera as he sits in front of his home in the Ganjitsu Kalay, Kandahar Province,
Afghanistan, Sep. 30, 2011. The boy is unable to use the right side of his body due to an illness he had
when he was a baby. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Kristina Truluck/Released)
This is a picture of the little boy from Conversations.
Unfortunately, because he lives in a very secluded farmer's territory, he won't be living a successful or happy life.

Thank You, thank you for such beauty and life within this photograph.
The child's eye reach my soul with a yearning and a peace, yet suffering than any other eyes of children I have seen here.
This is such an important aspect of photography, where we are able to see the other side of our daily expectations, poverty and tragedy.
To witness this, all I can say is that you have a vocation to capture images we would probably never see, continue doing so, for the sake of these individuals story. They need to be told and see, but most importantly prayed for.
