Mission: Impossible Fort Meade, MD December 24th, 2012 Canon 5D MkII
Anyone who has tried to photograph a hyperactive toddler right after naptime most likely knows exactly how frustrating it is to get them to just sit still. Holy flying uteri. Might try it again once we get his proper (belated) holiday shots done for the family.
By the way, Santa is dangerous. While we were watching bases' 'fire fucks' (ninjababy's wording, not mine Dx) escort the jolly old man around, apparently he bit my son's butt. Yup. "Santa bit me....butt. Mama, Santa bit me...butt." Funny, he said the same thing about a dire wolf earlier in the month when we went to the zoo. And this morning about the snow. Yay?

I just want to say Merry Christmas to my watchers, friends, and especially my brothers and sisters overseas. Having spent last Christmas watching this guy open his presents thousands of miles away over Skype, I know how difficult it is spending the holidays away from loved ones. Keep on keepin' on.

I love it. The way the light shines on ninjababy's face and his expression are beautiful. I really like how the lights in the top corner add interest and color to that side of the photo without detracting from ninjababy. This is wonderful work, and just warms my little heart to the core.
